The V2.1 Conversion Kit provides a precision-engineered, lossless solution for adapting the legendary Contax G35mm f/2 optics to the Leica M-mount system. This version represents a refined balance between modern portability and traditional mechanical feedback.
【V2.1 Lightweight Evolution】
The V2.1 is the lightweight successor to our previous V2.0. By re-engineering the outer housing with high-strength aluminum alloy, we have achieved a significant weight reduction of 80g.
Despite the lighter exterior, we have retained brass for the internal focus helicoids. This ensures that you benefit from the portability of aluminum while maintaining the signature dampening and smooth, tactile resistance that only a brass-on-brass focusing mechanism can provide.
【Ordering Options】
We provide two ways to experience the G35/2 on your M-mount body:
1.Conversion Kit Only: For photographers who already own the Contax G35/2 and wish to perform the conversion themselves.
2.Complete Lens (Pre-converted): A ready-to-use solution featuring original Contax G35/2 glass pre-installed in our V2.1 housing, calibrated and tested by our technicians.
FEATURES
- Lossless conversion. During the conversion process, there will be no damage to the original G35/2. In the future, if you wish to reuse the shell of G35/2, it can be restored for reuse. The conversion process will not affect any performance.
- Revitalize the classic Contax optics. The Contax G35/2 has high optical quality and a good reputation. The conversion kit can breathe new life into its ultra-high resolution and vibrant colors on Leica M.
- Combined with our specially formulated damping grease, the overall handling achieves a good balance. Letting classic design be just as comfortable to use.

Due to design limitations, the G35 Conversion Kit V2.1 only achieves an effective aperture of approximately f/13 when the lens aperture ring is set to f/16.
Furthermore, when rotating the aperture ring from f/16 to f/11, the aperture will momentarily remain at f/13. To return to f/11, rotate the ring from f/8 to f/11.
Rotating from f/11 to f/16 is unaffected. In this case, the actual aperture transitions from f/11 to f/13.
While this impact on usage is minimal, we wish to inform users in advance.

Customs Duties Policy
All listed prices do not include import duties applicable in the buyer’s country or region (with the exception of the United States). The exact duty amount is determined by the local customs authority and will be collected by the courier prior to delivery. If needed, we can declare a specific value for your shipment upon request.
For orders shipped to the United States, all customs duties are fully subsidized by us. Buyers will not incur any additional fees.

[1] Please allow 3 weeks for delivery to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and all European Union Countries.
[2] Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery to the rest of the world.
[3] PO BOX is not allowed as a shipping address!!!
[4] Taxes and fees that may be incurred during shipping should be paid by the customers.
[5] Within China (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), we use SF Express to deliver. Sellers in Taiwan need to download the "Yiliwei" APP and provide the recipient's ID card information.
[6] For non-China areas, we will use express companies such as SF Express, EMS or DHL. International express charges vary by region.
[7] When you receive the goods, please check in person whether the outer packaging of the courier is intact, whether the packaging is appropriate, and whether the lens is damaged by the courier, so that you can file a claim with the courier in time; You must bear the loss yourself.
Returns
Returns are allowed. However, you will be responsible for your own round-trip shipping costs, as well as any import/local duties that may be incurred. These fees are about 100USD.
